Established in 1984, Charlottesville Area Builders is owned and operated by Mike and Isobel Sadler. They are the third generation of the family company, carrying on the tradition of custom home building that Mike's father and grandfather held so dear.

Each of our projects is special to us. Your custom home ambitions quickly become ours as well, as we set out to create your dream house together. We love building relationships that work towards a common goal, and the reward is everything you can imagine.

We’ve been building homes and relationships in the Charlottesville area for nearly 40 years. Our homes are built in the Charlottesville/Albemarle area and extend to the six surrounding counties: Nelson, Greene, Madison, Orange, Louisa, and Fluvanna.
